My Story
My name is Robert Hayes, better known as Payz DaProducer, and I’m the creator of Subsonic Frequencies—a creative engine built from the ground up. I got my start in Longs, South Carolina, a small town just 15 minutes from Myrtle Beach. That’s where the grind began—recording tracks in tight spaces, chasing inspiration late into the night, and building my sound brick by brick.
Music has always been my calling. I started with a group called Waywitwords alongside Big Trub and Yung J.A., and together we laid the foundation for what would later become Mob United—Mind Over Body—a movement driven by elevated lyrics and next-level consciousness. Our message was real. Our flow was unmatched. And our passion never stopped.
Over the years, I’ve worked with countless artists including Big Trub (Truble T Dagator), CCCambino, PhilWitTheSpil, Dr. Tray, BBlessed, and many others—handling everything from recording to mixing, mastering, beat production, and full compositions from scratch. I’m a true one-stop-shop: I DJ, fly drones for cinematic aerial footage, edit videos, design sound for film, and perform live. I can write, sing, rap, and bring the full experience to the stage or the studio.
After earning my Audio Production Bachelor's degree from Full Sail University and becoming a lifetime member of the National Society of Collegiate Scholars, I sharpened my skills even further—now I’m all in. Subsonic Frequencies is more than a brand. It’s my mission. It’s my sound. It’s everything I’ve worked for.
Now is my time to shine—and I’m bringing that same energy to every artist, brand, or filmmaker ready to level up.
